Cyrus Pilcher- Service Dog for Trisomy 21
Cyrus
Cyrus is the oldest of three boys in the family. He was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 aka Down Syndrome. He adores animals, especially dogs and would love to have one of his own. As he has gotten more independent in opening doors and unbuckling his car seat, he has gotten into more and more dangerous situations where he takes off and runs. He has no sense of danger, so he’ll run straight into roads or busy parking lots without a second thought. A service dog will help keep Cyrus safe in these situations and to help him to not take off running in the first place. A service dog will also help him when he gets overstimulated by grounding him and giving him support, and help him feel safe to sleep throughout the night. Please consider donating and support Cyrus in getting the service dog he deserves.
