A “One-of-a-kind” 6 week course to train your dog the

fundamentals of a Service Dog!

We have received many requests of training Dogs outside of the Golden Healer Service Dog Program as Service Dogs. In collaboration with our trainers, we are now offering a 6 week course for anyone interested training their own dog with the guidance of our experienced service dog trainers. Within 6 weeks, your dog will be learning all fundamentals required for a well trained Service Dog. This 6 week intense course include the following lessons:

Lesson 1: socialization and public access

Lesson 2: leash work and sitting/ defaulting to calm

Lesson 3: structured games and intro to tasks

Lesson 4: boundary setting for resources and space, place/ downs

Lesson 5: group outing

Lesson 6: review outing, recall

In addition to the 6 weeks of material, you will have a free assessment of your dog and consolation with our head trainer. You will have a lifetime long access to all training lessons and the ability to communicate with our trainers after the course has been completed.
